bad news
Damn. News just came in from my principal about the missing elementary student...he was found dead today in the mountains not far from Tokamachi. He was gone for a full 7 days. I haven't heard much more about what happened but it's got me pretty sad today...poor kid, poor family, friends and classmates...

shit dude.... there was an announcement made here about him earlier today but I thought it was telling the students to keep a look out for him.... thats awful news, his family and friends must be in a state... did he get lost in the mountains? or was he taken?

From what I know (from Keiko), the boy, Shuhei, went missing on the holiday day last Thursday. He lived in Takashima (Yoshida area, on the way to Matsudai) and went missing just before he and his family went shopping and the alert was raised pretty soon after. He's gone missing before and once they found him out near Mion onsen in Nakasato, at least 8km from his home.
I saw posters at my schools and my footy team cancelled training at Kawaji Elementary on Tuesday night, I guess to help look for him.
I heard nothing else until today. The boy was found this morning in a stream in Nakatte, high in the mountains from his home. I don't know how he died.
